Refreshed acoustic CPD seminar
Lorient, leading designer and manufacturer of sealing systems for door assemblies has refreshed one of its popular RIBA approved CPDs: ‘Performance Door Design: The Basics of Sound Reduction’. We have incorporated new graphics, animations and video to illustrate and explain the learning points and to provide an engaging presentation.
Effective acoustic containment helps to improve the quality of the built environment, preserving privacy as well as excluding unwanted noise. Our RIBA seminar covers the important issue of acoustic containment for door assemblies and considers:
- The nature of sound;
- Regulatory requirements;
- British Standards that relate to acoustic performance;
- Effective design of door assemblies for acoustic performance; including door construction and the influence of sealing systems.
Registered RIBA members can claim double points for our CPD materials; and all attendees will receive one-hour's CPD for each seminar.
If CPD certification is not required, presentations can be tailored to suit a wide variety of audiences, including client companies, building contractors, construction industry groups and trade associations.
