Big 5 2017 Exhibition Success!
In November (26th- 29th), the Lorient Group exhibited at the largest construction event in the Middle East – The Big 5 International Building & Construction show in Dubai. The exhibition attracted almost 80,000 attendees from both the GCC and international markets across four days at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
It was Lorient’s fifth time exhibiting at the show, which was once again a great success. The international team including Mike Lumsden (International Director) and Amit Ur (Sales Manager) from Lorient Gulf welcomed both new and existing customers to the stand, which provided the perfect platform to showcase our world-class range of high quality British manufactured acoustic, smoke & fire containment systems.
Our contemporary stand located in the Sheikh Saeed Hall had a number of different zones with a variety of interesting videos, graphics, door models and product models, giving visitors opportunity to engage with the Lorient brand and its comprehensive range of products. The Made in Britain logo proudly adorned stand graphics, polo shirts, brochures and many products were laser etched with the marque.
The Lorient team were thrilled to receive positive feedback about the newly designed Architectural Seals brochure – which embraces a popular range of drop seals, perimeter seals, door bottom seals, threshold plates and ramps and more. New products include: LAS8012 si, LAS8013 si & LAS8014 si – high performance acoustic drop seals; LAS8001M – a slimline, mortised drop seal for timber sliding doors; LAS7050 – a translucent perimeter seal for glass doors; LAS9030 – a finger guard seal; LAS9005 drip guard; LAS3009 – a medium duty door bottom seal and LAS1050 – a durable, compression seal for steel frames. Visitors to the stand were also delighted to hear about our latest product innovation the new LAS9010 – our first fully integrated system of drop seal with flush bolt.
